The dining area is one of our favorite spots. From there, we can see the entire living space, the garden, and the changing light throughout the day. Sometimes the space feels like it's from another world.
For this home in Vienna, my goal was to create a bright, airy, and easy-to-maintain environment tailored to the needs of a family with two children.
The project was shaped by the family’s love for white interiors, Art Deco influences, greenery, and bold accents of color, as well as their desire to incorporate personal belongings and memories collected over time. Together, these elements became the foundation for an interior designed around their personality and lifestyle.
Each space was carefully optimized to support the needs of a growing family, balancing functionality, flexibility, and atmosphere. Custom-designed furniture, decorative partitions, and interventions inspired by the Art Deco language contribute to a cohesive identity while responding to everyday functional needs without compromising the flexibility required for family life.
An important part of the project was the integration of existing pieces that were still in excellent condition. The sofa was reupholstered in green fabric and incorporated into the new interior, alongside selected lighting fixtures, finishes, and decorative objects.
The result is a bright and welcoming home where Art Deco influences, integrated greenery, restored pieces, and custom-designed elements come together in a space that authentically reflects the personality and lifestyle of the family who lives there.
