Roosters - The Food Hangout

A playful fast-food restaurant designed as a place to connect, enjoy and return.

Super vibe and concept (...) the vibe felt so cozy and it shows how much thought went into the place. (...) It's a unique experience.

For Roosters, my goal was to create more than a place where you come in, order, and leave. The concept explores how a fast-food format can move beyond speed and offer reasons to spend more time in the space.

I developed the project around the user journey and the brand’s values, creating a sequence of experiences that feel intuitive and natural. From the moment visitors enter, they are guided by the fluid design of the custom furniture towards the ordering area, sauces station, dining area and hangout space, following a rhythm that gradually shifts from energy and movement to comfort and pause.

One of the main challenges was the long, narrow and tall volume of the dining area, as well as the hallway connecting the two main spaces. Rather than treating these characteristics as limitations, I chose to transform them into opportunities to create visual rhythm, strengthen the spatial identity and enrich the user experience.

The interior combines bold colour contrasts, integrated greenery and a series of custom-designed elements developed specifically for the project. Bespoke furniture, a custom kitchen partition designed to maintain visual connection with the kitchen and reinforce trust in the product, stained-glass-inspired panels, graphic interventions, a wave-shaped banquette, a parametric ceiling installation and a flexible lighting system contribute to a layered environment that feels both playful and cohesive.

Developed in close collaboration with the branding team, the visual identity was woven into the architecture through color, materials, layout and graphic interventions, giving each area its own character while maintaining a strong and memorable identity throughout the space.

The result is a dynamic and welcoming space designed around the people who use it — a place that encourages interaction, comfort, and different ways of spending time, from socializing to moments of focus.
