Designing my apartment brought my vision to life—a bright, warm space with meaningful details like the bicycle sink stand. It truly feels like home.
The first apartment I designed entirely according to my own vision was my one-bedroom home, purchased in 2013. Although I already had a portfolio from my university years and early jobs, I consider this project my first true creation—a space where I refined my approach and began shaping my identity as an interior architect.
This project revealed a key aspect of my style: my inspiration primarily comes from nature. I was drawn to bright, inviting spaces and earthy tones, core elements that continues to shape my work today.
At the same time, designing my own apartment gave me the freedom to experiment with space optimization without external constraints. The result was a bright, warm, and functional home, featuring smart, multifunctional furniture solutions.
A standout feature was the sink stand made from an old bicycle I bought at a flea market. After refurbishing it, I transformed it into a statement piece in the bathroom, adding personality and originality to the space. This bold decision replaced a conventional piece of furniture with something unconventional and personal, aligning with the overall vision of the space. It brought dynamism to the room and also infused the design with character, reflecting my lifestyle—particularly my passion for cycling in nature, as well as my interest in functional and sustainable design.
