A home that feels like an ongoing adventure—where color, imagination, and individuality shine through.

For me the best way to capture a home is to let some time pass between completing a project and photographing it. It’s in these moments that a home feels most alive and offers a true reflection of how well the design supports the lifestyle and needs of its residents. That’s when I love to capture its essence.

As a color lover, I was thrilled when a young couple, new parents, approached me with a vision for a bold, colorful home, particularly drawn to blues and aquatic tones. Beyond the colors, they wanted their apartment to become a place where creativity, play, relaxation, and personal growth could unfold naturally.

As always, we started with functionality. After understanding their needs and finding the right solutions, we created a bright and lively day area, blending wood, brick, rope, and painted details that add a special charm. The wooden-clad staircase is not only a spectacular feature but also an ingenious storage solution, also hiding a play area for their little one, transforming the space into a whimsical corner. It leads us to the upstairs, where the dark blue walls create a calm, intimate night area. This space was brought to life by murals painted by Atelier Tourmaline Boutique and the family’s most cherished souvenirs, infusing the penthouse with personality and warmth.

But the real magic came from my youngest and most enthusiastic collaborator. Eric’s spontaneous creativity—his handmade pieces stuck to furniture, his drawings here and there—infused the space with even more personality. His little interventions were the final touches that made the home truly reflect the family’s spirit.

And truthfully, this is what I love most about this project. I genuinely believe there’s no decoration in a home more special than a child’s art—the kind that emerges naturally, full of creativity and heart.

In the end, we created a home that feels like an ongoing adventure—a place where color, imagination, and individuality shine through. A home where laughter echoes, stories unfold, and every corner holds a treasure waiting to be discovered.
